Engel & Völkers NYC was proud to be one of the lead sponsors for the first annual Ich Bin Expat Fair on November 4th. Organized by CityKinder along with the German, Swiss and Austrian Chambers of Commerce, the fair was essentially a networking event to connect New York’s German-speaking community with the businesses and organizations who serve them.
Held at the Mezzanine in lower Manhattan, the event attracted almost 500 attendees. Individuals, couples and families visited with over 40 exhibitors representing banking, education, career development and relocation services along with German, Swiss and Austrian products. The scent of tempting delicacies including Glühwein filled the space. Throughout the day, a series of experts presented seminars on topics including entrepreneurship, bilingual education, and building a strong personal brand. There was also an ongoing entertainment and educational program for the many children who attended.
Nataly Rothschild and fellow Rothschild Team members Julie Zelman and Cristina Carrion (Nataly, right and Cristina left pictured at our table above) hosted the Engel & Völkers booth, giving out brochures, GG magazines and E&V chocolates while sharing their expertise about NYC housing options and the purchase and rental process here. Nataly is a longstanding member, volunteer and real estate expert for CityKinder, a lifestyle and community platform offering information, resources, classes and events for German-speaking families in the greater New York City area.
