It was a record-breaking year at the Cannes Yachting Festival, where 51,0000 nautical enthusiasts descended on the Côte d’Azur.  With half the visitors traveling from abroad and exhibitors hailing from 40 countries, there was a cosmopolitan glamor that permeated the event.

Engel & Völkers was well represented by Anissa Mediouni, CEO of E&V Yachting and her team at E&V Yachting French Riviera. The team showcased two fabulous yachts, the “Gigreca,” a 75-foot Italian sailing yacht (pictured), and the “Maria Teresa,” an 80 ft motor yacht that was originally a transport ship and had been impeccably reconstructed to meet every standard of luxury.

Mediouni described the event as a tremendous success for E&V Yachting.  “We held talks with a large number of potential clients. The majority expressed an interest in purchasing a yacht, while the rest were looking to charter. Two other prospective buyers are looking to acquire brand new yachts and asked for our consultation in this endeavour,” she said.
