New York City NYC

The sport of polo is thousands of years old, but it’s rampant popularity in California is relatively recent. Will Rogers, Hollywood’s famous horse-riding cowboy, helped popularize it in Tinseltown in the early 1930’s. Iconic figures like Clark Gable, Spencer Tracy and Walt Disney were known to saddle up and play polo at Will’s Los Angeles ranch. Therefore, it was fitting that the “Polo Classic Malibu” was hosted on the Will Rogers Ranch by Engel & Volkers and Bentley.  The 500 guests were able to enjoy a first-rate game of polo while reveling in the spectacular scenery of the Santa Monica mountains.

The match was only one portion of what was a truly fabulous evening. Multiple Grammy Winner Albert Lee performed to tremendous applause.  Guests agreed that the food was delicious and the wine was copious.  Furthermore, if they tired of horses, they had the chance to test drive a brand new Bentley Botega.
